Homework has been proven to have no significant impact on brain development, and it can actually increase stress in children as they get older.

While yes, it is true that SOME kids benefit from homework, the majority don't. Additionally, the majority of children lack the time and energy after school to complete their homework. Teachers have the ability to put out material that children can do OPTIONALLY, and possibly even give it as extra credit for kids who are struggling in class. 

And that is why we should ban homework in the state of Pennsylvania, or potentially everywhere else.
