Goguardian spies on students, even at home. This is a form of spyware, and is illegal to use. Yet teachers use it on students every day.

Studies say that while blocking inappropriate content, Goguardian has also been known to block resource access (Houston & Francis, 2020). Students need information, and sometimes a school computer is the only way for students to get it
