Petitioning Member of Europe Parliament Dan Jørgensen and 4 others

Denmark's major newspaper Ekstra Bladet, activists from the Animal Organization ANIMA and Danish TV2 had revealed unimaginable cruelty of mink and fox farms in Denmark.   Despite warnings and regular vet checks there is evidence that gross neglect of animals. Terrible images of neglect was shown in the news in DR..

Pictures of mink with large head wound. Photos such as mink, where half the body is torn into pieces, and images of mink, which lies dead in their cage for weeks
Denmark is the world's largest exporter of mink fur and the fur company Kopenhagen Fur is getting richer and richer. The biggest importers of Danish mink and fox are Russia and China.   Politicians defend the fur industry - partly because of the 25,000 jobs and the farmers' threat to move production to China.   I therefore ask you to help me to put pressure on the Danish politicians so that these farms can be closed.   Thank you
