Living in this beautiful and diverse country of Australia, I am often filled with pride to witness our national flag waving majestically in the sky. It is a symbol of our unity, freedom, and shared identity. However, it is concerning when foreign flags are flown at places other than embassies, potentially inciting negative reactions and creating divisions within our society.

Australia is home to millions of people from diverse backgrounds, and while cultural inclusivity and celebration of diversity are values that we cherish, it is imperative that the flag flown outside buildings and in public spaces reflect our national identity and unity. The presence of foreign flags in public spaces often brings about contention and confusion, detracting from our sense of community and shared values as Australians.
