Hi! I, alongside 75 million Americans, am autistic. For many autistic people, loud noises are not just bothersome, but cause physical pain for us. Sadly, residential areas still allow guns, fireworks, and other disruptive items, which can go through all hours of the night. This can cause issues for pets, parents of very young children, veterans, mass shooting survivors, and in over 75 million homes, autistic people. If we restrict fireworks to public areas such as sports fields or public parks, we can create a safer, more inclusive (and cleaner) environment for all.
