Everyone loves celebrating special occasions with Fireworks.  I have lived in Milton for 3 years and have seen issues with fireworks becoming progressively more dangerous.

People are setting them off without permits, young children are involved, they are being used as weapons, causing property damage and are a cause of distress for war veterans, wildlife, pets, and a nuisance for people.

The police will not respond to complaints and bylaw doesn't followup.  It's only a matter of time before someone starts a disastrous fire or someone experiences a life altering injury.

Please sign this petition to appeal to our councillors to amend the bylaw so that firework displays are enjoyed in a controlled and planned way at somewhere like the fairgrounds and to ban the sale of fireworks.
