I had a personal experience in my neighborhood where I had to take it upon myself to save three baby possums because a local resident had run over their mother with their car. Out of an initial 8, only 2 baby possums survived, and they were so young that their eyes had yet to open. This unfortunate incident causes me heartache to this day and has inspired me to campaign for the protection of wildlife.

Can you imagine a world where animals are constantly in danger simply because they co-exist with humans? Our wildlife, coyotes, foxes, and many others are killed ruthlessly on their own turf. They have as much right to live on this planet as we do. I believe that we should not displace them by continuing to cause harm.

According to a recent study, 60% of global wildlife populations have declined in just over 40 years (Source: World Wildlife Fund). Additionally, an alarming number of species are listed as endangered. Making wildlife hunting illegal would be a significant step in restoring balance to ecosystems and saving these incredible creatures from extinction.

We must make it illegal to hunt and kill these precious animals or to disregard their safety on our roads. They offer ecological benefits that help to balance life on earth and preserve biodiversity. What we need now is to convince the lawmakers to take strict action against wildlife hunting.
