It is the 8th of July, 2026 and the round of 16 match between Leo Messi's Argentina and Egypt has left an aftermath of chaos across social media.  Egyptian football officials and coaches are losing their minds over every call that didn't go their way, regardless of whether they were correct or not. This shows an utter lack of sportsmanship on behalf of their FA and brings the entire event into disrepute. There should be consequences that would make the game more enjoyable for everyone (especially, you know, actual football fans).

We the people propose banning Egypt from the 2030 edition of the World Cup. The effects of their disgraceful conduct, spearheaded by the head coach, are wide-reaching and lasting. Casual followers are regurgitating the worst takes known to man. Grown men are crying and libelling referees because their team choked a football game and cant accept responsibility.

It is clear that nobody else can be to blame for Egypt conceding 3 goals in 15 minutes except the players themselves. And if this is how their premier team, association, staff behave and get off with no consequences then in four years they will be even more brazen and even more embarrassing! Ban them!!
