I am personally affected by the widespread use of dihydrogen monoxide. My mother was exposed to it during her pregnancy, resulting in my chemical dependency on it. This is a reality that many people in San Bernardino, CA, USA face every day.

Dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO), also known as water, is everywhere - in our homes, schools, workplaces and even our bodies. While necessary for life as we know it, its unregulated use can lead to severe consequences such as overhydration or water intoxication.

Furthermore, DHMO contributes significantly to the greenhouse effect and global warming due to its high heat capacity (Source: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). It's also a major component of acid rain which damages our environment (Source: Environmental Protection Agency).

For these reasons and more, we must regulate the use of dihydrogen monoxide for the safety of our children and planet. This petition calls on local authorities in San Bernardino to take immediate action towards this cause.
