Declawing is cruel. If you take away cat's claws, then a number of things can happen. Things like:

If someone in your house tried to hurt your cat in some way, they wouldn't have claws to defend themselves.

Let's say your cat got outside without claws, and your neighbor's dog was out and ran after your cat. With no claws, your cat won't be able to defend themselves. They can't climb a tree either, without claws.

If your cat did get up a tree, they would not be able to get down without hurting themselves badly.

Many people declaw their cats because they scratch the furniture. There are other ways to stop your cat from scratching the furniture. Like:

• Spray a spray that makes cats get away from the furniture.
• Put scratch pads and trees that your cat can scratch.
• Furniture strips so you cat can't scratch the furniture.

Sign the petition if you agree that declawing cats is cruel. Cats do not deserve to be declawed!
