The 2017 Federal Budget has revealed that the Coalition Government's promise to save thousands of animal lives starting 1 July 2017 will not eventuate for another 12 months. "Implementation of the ban will start 1 July 2018 to provide industry with a transition period and align with broader industrial chemical reforms." Thousands of animals will suffer and die because of animal testing within the next year. We will continue our campaign until Australia bans cosmetics tested on animals.
