Petition to ban collective punishment in all Shelby County Schools. Collective punishment is when one child gets in trouble at school, the whole class gets punished. This is harmful as it causes the children to turn against each other and hold grudges eventually bullying the child in question. It would be more beneficial to punish the child for their misdeeds and not the entire class for a mistake they didn't make. This us an unfair tactic.
