There have been numerous accounts where users, especially minors, have faced extremely distressing experiences, and yet, the platform's reaction to such grave issues remains lackluster. Many dangerous users continue to operate freely, posing ongoing risks to vulnerable individuals who simply want a safe space to engage and communicate. Furthermore, reports suggest a significant delay in Chitchat’s response to such threats, undermining user trust and security.

The issues don't end there. Chitchat's moderation system is riddled with inconsistencies, leading some users to face unjust bans while others, who genuinely breach safety protocols, face no repercussions.
