The Issue

It's time for Governments to ACT NOW.

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and all the others are curently complicit and actively encourage the exploitation of children online, as well as knowingly putting children in harms way.  These social media platforms know the type of people who are viewing content of children and know where some of these images end up.  They are aware but do not care.

Exposing children online carries a number of risks which include having their image explosed to predators, being exposed to the negative impact of being in the public eye and being used by their parents to make money, monetising every ounce of their child's life.

With the recent advancement capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the future should scare everyone with children.  Already there have been instances of AI being used to create Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) using basic school photos appearing on sites like Facebook.  This is only going to become a bigger problem as AI advances at an alarming rate.

Social media platforms have had ample opportunity to change matters but refuse to do so as it's too profitable for them.  This should NOW be taken out of their hands by banning all under 18s from social media.  This is the only safe and logical way of ensuring a child's image does not appear online, does not risk being misused and does not compromise the privacy and safety of the child.

Various laws have recently been implemented across the world to counteract this.  However, still more needs to be done.

The tipping point MUST be the recent 8 PASSENGERS case whereby the mother Ruby Franke was arrested for horrific child abuse.

For over ten years YouTube allowed this woman a platform to monetise her children making millions of dollars and in turn making YouTube millions of dollars.  This is by no means the first instance of it's kind on YouTube.

Daddy o' Five were jailed for their child abuse which was carried out in front of millions on YouTube.

It's time to STOP unscrupulous parents across the board who are using their own children daily to pay their mortgage, to pay their bills.  YouTube, TikTok, every platform, need to put children's safety and privacy before profits.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Please sign this petition if you would to protect children from being used, abused and being endangered online.

Thank you all so much for your support.
