Our beloved cat, Caravaggio, has recently been hit by a car owner who did not stop to help him. Cara was severely injured yet somehow managed to get back home with a broken leg and several other injuries. His injury resulted in complete leg amputation. It is illegal to hit a dog and run, so why is it not the same for our other furry friends? Unfortunately, we know of many other cat owners who have been in a similar situation, if not worse. Please sign this petition to help cats like Cara. Cats are a part of the family and they deserve to have a fighting chance if hit by a car.
