Hi everyone, Today Christy Clark delivered her Throne Speech to the Legislature. With the BC Greens and BC NDP sticking to their agreement, the BC Liberal government will be voted down in the upcoming confidence vote. Furthermore, John Horgan will then be asked to step in as Premier and appoint a cabinet. It is absolutely necessary for Horgan to appoint Lana Popham as Minister of Agriculture in order to ban battery cages. She supports our petition and promised to enact on this issue if Minister. Unfortunately, Popham was apart of the unity within the NDP in 2010, which worked to have Carol James resign as their Leader. Horgan was a James loyalist and this history could put her in a spot of trouble. We can’t let this stop her from being our new Minister of Agriculture. I need all of you right now to sign a new petition directed at John Horgan to appoint Lana Popham: https://www.change.org/p/john-horgan-appoint-lana-popham-minister-of-agriculture-4986db55-0cc7-4c87-86f4-a45cc4997c52 This petition is authored by a friend of mine, Sophie Collins. Like me, she is a high school student and animal welfare activist. Join Sophie and I in supporting Lana Popham as our Minister of Ag: https://www.change.org/p/john-horgan-appoint-lana-popham-minister-of-agriculture-4986db55-0cc7-4c87-86f4-a45cc4997c52 - Ned Taylor
