Friends, I come to you today with amazing news! Vicki Huntington (Independent MLA) has promised to introduce me in the Legislature and speak of our petition! Vicki’s staff have suggested I coordinate with Andrew Weaver (Green Party MLA) to have Vicki introduce me in the Legislature on the same day Andrew Weaver presents our petition. This would make our issue and presence in the Legislature more resonating. I have connected with Andrew Weaver’s staff and they have ensured this will work. We now have a date: February 20th! Andrew’s staff have also promised to retrieve a video clip of Andrew presenting my petition to post on their YouTube Channel so all of you can see it! I am going to work to have Vicki’s staff do the same for my introduction. I am also going to now start coordinating with Lana Popham (NDP MLA) to speak of when she can introduce me. I look forward to hearing from her and will ask her staff to post a YouTube clip as well. We now have three MLA’s speaking of our petition and this issue in the Legislature! Our accomplishments are moving us towards the necessary change of finally banning battery cages. I know with even more significant accomplishments to come, battery cages will be banned in British Columbia! I could not have done this without the tremendous passion, commitment and support you have given me. So thank you. Please, if you have any ideas, suggestions or questions, email me! I want to hear from you! nedtaylor27@gmail.com In solidarity, Ned Taylor
