We want Barb Wire banned from the UK, as it is dangerous as it can cause moderate to severe injuries likely by rupturing the skin, this can often lead to infections as the steel used can be corroded and not sterilised. 

Barb Wire is especially dangerous to horses, due to its lack of visibility and the sharpness, which can rip through the skin, if equine get entangled and then panic the injuries can be severe and in some cases fatal.

Barb Wire also poses a risk to wildlife such as deer, also dogs have been known to suffer serious injuries, after become entangled in it.

It poses a serious risk to both adults and children, due to the sharpness and high risk of infection.  

All animals and humans should have the right to enjoy the countryside without the risk of sever injury or worse case fatality by the avoidable use of Barb Wire. There are plenty of other much safer options for fencing and health and safety should come first.
