As everyone knows, the number of pets, wild animals and even humans affected by the noise from fireworks is enormous. Every year, fireworks cause death and suffering to many. 

The UK government still seems to be dragging its heels over the sale of fireworks to the public. No one NEEDS fireworks. Bonfire night displays are often spectacular but we really need these pyrotechnics to be silent to prevent the trauma. 

Please consider signing this petition which will, at the very least, still allow the sale of fireworks in the UK, but without the need for the accompanying loud noise.
