We’ve all had enough thoughts and prayers. The shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde cannot be yet another cog in the wheel of endless mass shootings in America, carried out with military grade assault weapons by ordinary citizens who have no business wielding them. America is by the people, for the people. If our elected officials can’t act out of good conscience and rationality, let’s remind them who they work for and force action ourselves.
