Ban And Put A Stop To Unwanted AI Data Centers In The U.S.
The Issue

This is the water quality of residents in a Georgia town that live near an AI Data Center. This is the water our government expects them to drink, bathe in, and cook with! Residents living near Data Centers are also left with little to no water pressure at all, forcing millions to purchase bottled water, water filters, or whole water tanks, JUST to be able to have access to one of the basic necessities we need to survive! Residents are met with a 24/7 and extremely loud humming from the nearby centers that they can do nothing about! Not only that, but tens of thousands to MILLIONS of trees have been cleared just to make way for these buildings that are destroying and disrupting wildlife and disrupting the natural flow of nature and the entire ecosystem!
Do you know how important bees are to the ecosystem? Bees are responsible for pollinating roughly 90% of wild flowering plants and over 100 crop varieties. They provide food and shelter for countless birds, insects, and small mammals as well as helping to prevent soil erosion. And do you know how bad these AI Data Centers are for them? These massive data Centers require an abundance of energy that are helping contribute to the rapid climate change and heat stress we are seeing today. Even a small increase in global temperatures can cause higher death rates among bee eggs, reduce male bee sperm viability, and make colonies more vulnerable to parasites! Beekeepers and researchers have raised alarms that the strong electromagnetic fields generated by large-scale electrical substations and power transmission lines may disrupt the magnetic navigation systems bees use to find their way back to their hives! This exposure can cause altered foraging behavior and decreased reproductive capacity. Data centers require millions of gallons of water for cooling systems and in agricultural areas, heavy data center water consumption can drain local aquifers, impacting the floral resources needed by bees. Discharged wastewater can also introduce pollutants into local ecosystems! Our government and big tech CEOs are actively killing one of the most important insects that maintain our food and they DON'T CARE.
Large data center campuses, along with the electrical grid infrastructure needed to power them, cut through continuous ecosystems, making it extremely difficult for local wildlife to find food, mates, and safe shelter. The constant 24/7, low frequency humming, and bright lights causes sensory pollution that affects all wildlife in the surrounding areas.
There are people being forced to leave behind their childhood homes just so a Data Center can be put on top of it. This isn't fair to us. This isn't fair to the wildlife that had no say in us taking over their habitats. This isn't fair to the insects that help pollinate our food. And this isn't fair to the only planet we have!
We are urging you to sign your name, call your state representatives and demand our voices be heard! We deserve to live on a healthy planet coexisting with nature, NOT destroying it! We, the people, DID NOT approve of these Data Centers and we DON'T WANT THEM.
