I am deeply moved to take action because the character of Sylveon, a Pokemon known for its elegance and grace, is being horrifically and wrongly represented in an online context, specifically in scenarios known as Rule 34 – sexualized and inappropriate illustrations of otherwise innocent characters. Sylveon doesn't deserve this degradation and neither do the young fans who adore this character.

Regrettably, this issue isn't isolated to Sylveon or to Pokémon. Over the past few years, there has been a troubling increase in Rule 34 content involving cartoon and game characters. According to a 2016 research paper by Neilson and Paasonen, pornographic interpretations of these characters often overshadow their original, child-appropriate versions, leaving fans, particularly young ones, prone to inadvertent exposure to adult content (Neilson and Paasonen, 2016).

We are calling on all digital platforms, artistic communities, and game distributors to ban and eradicate all Rule 34 images and illustrations that involve the character of Sylveon. This is not only for the protection of Sylveon's image, but also to safeguard our young fans from exposure to this adult content.

The innocence of childhood should be respected, and children should be allowed to enjoy characters like Sylveon as they were meant to be seen. Please, join me in protecting Sylveon and countless other characters from inappropriate exploitation.
