Meadowbrook Elementary in Northbrook has recently changed their mascot and is now promoting it using AI-generated images. It is on every announcement and is being posted onto YouTube every day. Some kids dislike this new change, saying their old one was better.

Studies have been proven that excessive use of AI can re-wire people’s brains and make them more susceptible for poorer decision making skills. It kills the environment with how much water it uses for cooldowns and constant improvements, too. With growing companies like ChatGPT, Character.AI and others, more and more people use it every day. Unfortunately, schools like Meadowbrook have allowed use of this too.
