Petition updateBan AI-Generated Shoppable Videos on TikTok ShopUsing misogyny to degrade women and sell products with AI? Surely not???

Sunday night should be for winding down from the weekend and  looking forward to the week ahead.
But imagine if you had to go back to work at a place where people constantly break the rules, produce low quality work, promote misogyny and degrade women and the bosses just turn a blind eye.
Surely nowhere allows that in 2026?!
Well that what’s happening on TikTok.

We’ve been sent dozens of examples of terrible AI videos, many of which we have shared here, but there’s one account that not only produces the kind of content that does not show the physical product and exaggerates product effects, but they are literally degrading women in every video they produce. This one in particular we found vile https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRfakgRS/ and the worst part is that this faceless, AI account has consistent incredible views and ads placed on these degrading videos by brands once trusted by affiliates. We urge you to avoid those brands and let them know why you no longer want to promote their products or be associated with them.

Unfortunately we’ve seen a rise in people teaching how to produce this kind of content both through courses and even livestreams, and it’s usually men creating avatars of young, slim, white women to sell products to women, an audience they couldn’t reach on their own https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRfHpVFp/ What’s worse is they are stealing other creators’ content in order to do this so not only is it copyright theft it’s just wrong in every aspect.

Now I personally would never buy from a video that uses AI generated characters showing an AI generated product because I want to see the actual product I’m buying, but unfortunately it seems some users just can’t tell the difference between what’s real anymore.

TikTok did message its star creators this week to say they were taking action against AI content that breached guidelines and is not labelled as AI. A step in the right direction, but there’s is a very long way to go when accounts such as this exist  https://www.tiktok.com/@rs_darr?_r=1&_t=ZN-93wp4jYAzxe the presumably middle aged, lonely man behind that account making videos about teenage girls dropping to their knees at the mere whiff of a man needs banning from the platform.

In better other news we’ve had more creators speaking out against AI such as Neil who was  duped by some storage bags https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRfHvYjk/ and we love the idea of the hashtag #dontbuyfromai

And BozBuys who has seen a decrease in sales as a result of the increase in AI slop videos and is tired of it https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRfHT8gd/ it’s nice to see so much support in the comments.

Videos highlighting both sides of the argument are important in getting the subject talked about. When you see these types of videos make sure you direct people to the petition.

We are so grateful for your support and if you can please share the petition on your social media channels and ask those around you to sign as well it would be greatly appreciated.
