More creators are sharing their support an concerns over AI on TikTok shop such as Jules, a former TikTok shop seller turned creator who warns her customers about spotting which content is real and which could leave you with purchases that could be fake https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRUKML8L/

This creator was penalised for trying to speak out against the use of AI content in TikTok shop, https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRUKyGv1/ after purchasing what looked to be an amazing solar light for the garden the reality was very different and shows how the original video is clearly false advertising as it used an exaggerated product effect. However she was hit with 8 violation points for reproduced content. Which brings us to our next point…

Creators often use the audio of high performing videos in their own videos even when it’s the voice of someone else, but the use of AI and using someone’s voice like this 
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRUKMJbJ/ shows absolutely no original content at all, so why are these being pushed into our feeds?

Many creators are being accused of using AI to promote products when in fact they’re clearly demonstrating how well something works  https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRUvRm2q/ creators are then having to prove they are in fact real when it’s the AI that is the problem here if consumers can’t tell the difference. 

These are but a few examples on how AI videos on TikTok shop are damaging the platform and potentially making consumers lose trust in TikTok Shop altogether.
