The Baltimore Police Training Academy on Northern Parkway & Park Heights Aveune is relocating in December.  Without any input from the communities most affected, our elected officials in the 5th & 41st Districts are advocating to relocate the Northwestern Police Station to the Training Academy to provide additional security to the area and to avoid the look of a vacant building. 

What does this mean for our community? 

NO plan to replace or provide additional security or resources to the already underserved Black communities who are suffering from major violent crimes (homicides, random shootings, prostitution) on a daily basis.  

NO plan or discussion to prevent the building at 5271 Reisterstown Road from being vacant if the NW Police Station relocates. 

Overall a host of communities will continue to receive the short-end of the stock and the decline of these neighborhoods will continue while other neighborhoods receive the resources to continue to thrive. 

WHAT CAN I DO?  Sign this petition to tell them you DO NOT support the recommendation to move the Northwestern District Station to the Public Training Academy building on Northern Parkway.
