Petition Title: Oppose the Proposed Waste Transfer Site in Bacup**

We, the residents of Bacup and surrounding areas, stand united in our opposition to the proposed waste processing site at Henrietta Street, Bacup (Planning Application 2024/0460). Recent comments from have made it clear that this proposal is being pushed through without proper consideration for our community's concerns, especially during the busy holiday season. We cannot allow this development to go ahead quietly. 

Why This Matters!!!

The establishment of a waste processing site 5  times the size of the current one managing 50 thousand tonnes of waste will have dire consequences for our community. We are concerned about the negative impacts on our quality of life, property values, air quality, and local economy. We believe our concerns must be heard, and we urge everyone to take immediate action to oppose this application.
