We made it to the final step - City Council here we come! It was a sea of yellow at the Zoning and Planning commission meeting- and we talked for over an hour on the benefits of urban chickens. And we got a lot of good feedback and are now getting ready to bring it in front of the City council later this month.
First up: Strategy Sessions
We want to go into the council meeting with a united front and make sure that we aren’t repeating ourselves with the same talking points. So if you plan on attending the meeting, and ESPECIALLY if you plan on speaking at the meeting, please try to make one of our strategy sessions. We will go over the format, and make sure that we all have a different “why” or talking point to discuss.
We have four meetings scheduled, you don’t have to attend all four, I just wanted to give everyone options.
