Stop increasing the cost for advertisers of adult services on Backpage!!!!

Stop increasing the cost for advertisers of adult services on Backpage!!!!

The Issue

Recently there has been a major spike in advertising costs for sp's on Backpage sites across North America. We have watched the decent and death of Craigslist and its once free advertising for adult services, and seen Backpage move into the market and gain a monopoly over it. Prices have gone up from $2, to $3, $5, and now $7 per add, and as much as $21 in some American cities. Is this the future for advertising on Backpage your city? We need to put a stop to this.

Please sign this petition and help send the message to Backpage that we are NOT OK with this major increase in advertising.. They need to know that we are not compliant & we will find other avenues for advertising if they refuse to cut fees nominaly. Another site which is fairly new and has minimal fees is Duttslist. If enough people move away from advertising with BP and seek out other sources such as Duttslist, it will be a fairer market and BP will not have such a monopoly over it.

Please pass this along to as many people as possible. Sign with your alias to protect your privacy, and know that complete anomoninity is yours. It is time to put your foot down, and bring back affordable advertising to your city.

Thankyou and be safe.
