What did I do to deserve this level of cruelty?

There are laws and policies that do not protect the cruelty that helpless animals must endure at Shelters. They are inhumane, scary, and their procedures and protocols are not in place to prevent abuse and cruelty that are present. You would like to think that the name “shelter” exists to try and give the animal a chance in life to a fresh start and most do exist in that type of platform but some should not even exist. One of the worst places is Babylon Shelter in Long Island New York.

Shep has been at Babylon Shelter for nearly 1 year in a terrible environment

Babylon Shelter that is run by Chris Elton which has denied all attempts trying to adopt or rescue from aiding to a better & more stable of an environment. Chris Elton is very abusive, uncooperative, and blames the poor defensive animals to help finding a better life. “Shep has a lot of problems” was Chris Elton’s reasoning why German Shepherds have been at this god-awful place they have called home for years. Are there laws to protect the animals for this type of hatred and labeling? No but is this morally wrong? Yes very much so. The animals are malnourished, neglected, and abused. This behavior needs to stop! We can help as a community and give these animals a voice and a chance for life! They deserve a chance for family, love, & life!
