Baby Priya’s Bill has officially passed the House of Representatives and is off to the Senate now. It will soon be law.

I want to acknowledge Minister Amanda Rishworth for bringing Priya’s Bill to this stage. She has been absolutely incredible today in Parliament. I have been impressed with her since the first day I met her. She won me over when her first words to me were "what was Priya like?".

I am also grateful that Baby Priya’s Bill has opened up a conversation about stillbirth, infant death, miscarriage and baby loss in general. All loss matter!
