Millions of little children and babies in Nigeria are carried on their Mother's backs on Okadas every single day. They are whisked through the city at 50 plus miles per hour, the drivers swerve and turn on atrocious roads shaking the babies. With nothing but a tiny piece of cloth holding them .Their heads bob as they absorb -fumes from the trucks and cars without catalytic converters.This has resulted in many diseases,injuries and deaths as babies often fall off the motorcycles. Causing heartbreaking scenes. Politicians themselves have even witnessed the babies falling off the Okadas but refuse to ban children on Okadas. This has to stop innnocent lives our being lost and if the government would ban it, it would force the parents to ride in equally priced taxis. The Oyo State Government will only listen if they get attention from outside the country, other neighbooring states have adopted the cause, but Oyo refuses. Sign my petition if you believe in Child Rights and believe that babies should not be put in harmsway for no reason.
