Enough Already! I just turned on B95.5 to listen to music in the car and here, a week and a half before Thanksgiving, I am hearing Christmas music!

I don’t know what demographic information or statistics are guiding your choices, but I can tell you from discussions with my family, friends, and co-workers, there is not one of us that is not annoyed by All-Christmas-Music-All-The-Time, except for possibly on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It angers me personally when I want to listen to my favorite station and have to look elsewhere on the dial to find anything even vaguely similar to the format I usually hear on B95.5. I spend six weeks in frustration because I will not listen to your station again until after the Holidays.
I wouldn’t mind if you sprinkled Christmas music in with your regular programming. In fact, that would add to the holiday flavor and it would be like finding a delightful surprise. But All-Christmas-Music-All-The-Time is not unlike having to make a diet of candy only. It doesn’t take long until you get sick from the need for real nutrition and you start craving meat and potatoes.
There is an axiom that goes that for every one complaint you receive there are (20? 100?) people out there who are feeling the same way but not saying anything. Please, I’m begging you. Let me listen to the music I love with a little bit of the holidays sprinkled in for flavor! Otherwise, I’ll turn the radio back on in January.
