The purpose of this petition is to lobby the Province of B.C. and the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band to allow CSRD to spray larvicide on their lands in order to control nuisance mosquitoes in the North Shuswap area. 

CSRD chose not to spray in the spring of 2020 as they felt their abatement program would not be effective if they were not allowed access to land owned by the Province of B.C. and the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band. 

The petitioners would ask that going forward these groups reconsider their positions on this matter and allow CSRD to spray standing water in the North Shuswap area.
