Last week's Public Hearing was a non-event on this issue due to the withdrawal of the PDD Proposal by the developer, Konner, Inc. The Town Board heard us loud & clear. Your support to stop overdevelopment and protect our Gateway and Watershed area is working. However, it is not over. Now the Planning Board will review any proposal concerning Highway Business Zoning. It is up to us to remain vigilant on what they allow to build in this area. Many of you have requested to keep it GREEN. We need more support and contributions to see this through. Konner has threatened ... "Be careful what you wish for". Bob DeLuca, President of the Group for the East End and several other environmental firms are working closely with B.A.N. They care. We ALL care. PLEASE HELP B.A.N. TO PRESERVE THIS BEAUTIFUL HAMLET AND LET THE RESIDENTS CONTROL THEIR OWN DESTINY... NOT the Town and CERTAINLY NOT a developer. Future generations will applaud our efforts. Thank you.
