The Issue

There are a myriad of drunk driving signs all over the country, but what seems more common than drunk driving is aggressive driving.

Road rage signs as a general reminder of what could happen should be placed as periodically as speed limit signs, or road rage signs displaying active statistics and or related incidents statewide or nationally. I, along with MANY OTHERS have faced ROAD RAGE countless times on this particular section of the highway - tailgating, people yelling threats and making gestures, cutting people off closely, and aggressive driving. Road rage is a huge issue in Arizona and the potential for injuries and murders are significantly high especially on the State Route 89A going from Cottonwood to Sedona and vice versa. The state of Arizona is a constitutional carry state, if someone is having a bad day, a bad attitude with a vehicle and weapon are everyone's including law enforcements nightmare. Lives can be lost at any time of the day due to superoptimism and poor self control.

KEY CONCERNS - Reckless driving, unsafe lane changes, or following too closely or incidents that can escalate to assault, battery, brandishing a weapon and/or murder.
