There are over 200,000 or more registered homeopathic doctors currently, with approximately 12,000 more being added every year . BHMS & MBBS course remains the same in terms of eligibility for admission, duration of course and Internship even the course contains and depth is almost the same as MBBS. Homoeopathy is a system of therapeutic and thus study of Homoeopathy is just the same like MBBS till the understanding of clinical diagnosis. The legal status of homoeopathy in India is very much at par with the conventional medicine. While the state runs 20 ayurveda and three unani colleges, all the 49 homeopathy colleges in the state are run privately.

I did a google search on Government Homoeopathic jobs and this is what I found on one of the website:

Out of total 67799 active jobs listed on Youth4work, there are 10 jobs in mumbai, including mumbai jobs for homeopathic doctor, offered by 0 government sector companies. 

There were some private sector jobs that also as an RMO (no way I can practice homoeopathy doing this) Clinical Research associate (again stops me from practising Homoeopathy and some Homoeopathic Clinic offering the job, And salary listed 15,000 - 30,000 . Now this burns my heart does a doctor deserve this salary after all the hard work he/she put in the studies and then the pain he will put in to do the job. Do you think you will do justice if we are paid this amount , other day my cousin was recruiting a maid for full day 9:00 - 5:00 whom she is paying 15,000 a driver was paid 20,000 a receptionist is paid 15,000 so do you think it is fair for Homoeopathic Doctors get this payment. Will a doctor do justice to his/ her profession, most of the student are leaving the country moving abroad and guess what changing their profession.

We demand More Government Homeopathic OPD , and better salary structure for homoeopath.
