This began as a petition against toxicity at ITV and in particular two presenters who kept causing media storms online. Never in a million years did I imagine that less than a year later, scandal after scandal would emerge. It concerns me how much power one person has had over the British media, and the huge power they had over vulnerable people. It's been revealed publicly that injunctions are protecting Phillip Schofield. But more and more people are revealing the type of person he is. It's only Tuesday but apparently, ITV are finally WAKING UP and LISTENING as 'contracts are up for renewal'.... Soooo, in light of what's currently available to read online, and what is rumoured to be gagged by injunction, - what do you say? Should Phillip Schofield keep his job? And do you think Holly has been stitched up? 

When I started this I saw them as the same parcel, but now it's becoming clearer that Phillip is the one causing the most harm and the most manipulation. Holly has had her reputation damaged by this, and time will tell if the public can still support her. Was she naive to trust her friend, or is she playing naive? Time reveals all. As always, I wish her no harm, but it is important to stick up for those that have been bullied, harassed, or abused.

Let's get this man off TV once and for all.

UPDATE: 25/9/2022 

I’ve asked ITV to deliver any responses relating to this to the public and not to me, as I won’t be following the news, or watching the programme, or sharing anything online, or through social media. I want nothing more than for this topic to end. I want positivity, not hostility and negativity. The concerns raised by this have been shared with Ofcom and ITV, and that’s all I can do. 

I want to begin the week on a more positive note, and I don’t want to think about the programme anymore. It’s kind of destroying me. Words will be twisted, but the intent was always to prevent people being hurt time and time again by these TV shows.

Thousands of people are lining up overnight to pay respects to the Queen, where they will likely wait up to 24 hours.

Yet Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, two hosts of one of the most damaging to mental health day time tv shows This Morning, were able to push past those thousands and get immediate access. 

ITV should be ashamed of exploiting the situation. I'd like to see This Morning axed for good as I do believe it causes more harm than good, without people noticing. For example, like turning cost of living anxiety into a game show. At the least though, these presenters Holly and Philip should finally be removed from our TV screens. They've monopolised way too long.

PS. It doesn't matter about your feelings on the monarchy, its about the TV show being toxic and these presenters being given privileges that deprive others, and humiliate their own viewers in the process. In the same way Jeremy Kyle's show did.
