Stop testing on animals!

Stop testing on animals!
The Issue
Avon may say they don't test their products on animals but that is far from the truth.
Found on Avon's website, "Some products may be required by law in a few countries to undergo additional safety testing, including animal testing." Avon doesn't test on animals in the United States but does test and sell products in countries where animal testing is required. These animals endure horrific tests that involve rubbing potentially harmful chemicals on the skin and eyes, force-feeding, and a variety of others.
A program called The Leaping Bunny ensures all aspects of the product are cruelty free. If a product has the Leaping Bunny emblem then it is certified ‘cruelty free’ under the internationally-recognized Humane Cosmetics or Humane Household Products Standards, Avon is not Leaping Bunny approved. Avon chooses to sell their products in specific countries where it is required and makes the decision to buy ingredients from suppliers who animal test. Avon chooses to care more about profit and numbers than the well being of animals. A company like this should not be supported.
There are alternative methods that can be used to test products that eliminate the abuse, torture, and the death of animals. Avon needs to stop testing on animals as it is cruel to millions of helpless animals, there are other more efficient methods of testing, and numerous companies out there have shown safe incredible products can be made without animal testing.
