Mental health affects million of people regardless of race, ethnicity or gender. Ukraine has been at war which affected people residing in and fleaing Ukraine. Many heard about or witnessed war crimes, death, destruction and more. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, and addiction are consequences of trauma experienced by Ukrainians all over the world. There is a need to help Ukrainian refugees get appropriate mental health care to help start the healing process. United States has been slow with providing health care benefits to Ukrainian refugees while they need help now. Sign this petition to get Ukrainian refugees immediate assistance when it comes to mental health and health services. Healing needs to start right away to help decrease the chances of unhealthy habits and other negative affects.
