First, we want to sincerely thank everyone who has signed, shared, promoted, and supported our petition calling for AUTONOMY WITH SPAIN to be included as an option in Puerto Rico’s future political status process.
We recently became aware of an important issue regarding financial contributions made through the Change.org platform, and we want to clarify it immediately so there is no confusion among our supporters.
IMPORTANT: Any money contributed through Change.org—whether to promote our petition or through a Change.org membership—is paid directly to Change.org. These funds are NOT received by The National Puerto Rico & Spain Initiative (TNPRSI).
We know that a number of our supporters have made financial contributions through Change.org, and some may have believed that those contributions were being donated directly to our organization.
We sincerely appreciate your generosity and your intention to support our work.
Contributions made to promote the petition may help increase the petition’s visibility on Change.org, but TNPRSI does NOT receive those funds.

If you previously entered payment information through Change.org, we strongly encourage you to check your Change.org account and verify whether you selected a ONE-TIME contribution/promotion or a RECURRING Change.org membership.
If you selected a recurring membership and do not wish to continue being charged by Change.org, please manage, modify, or cancel that membership directly through your Change.org account.
TNPRSI cannot cancel, modify, or manage these charges because those payments are made directly to Change.org and are not received or controlled by our organization.
Signing our petition is completely FREE.
You are NOT required to make any financial contribution through Change.org in order to sign, share, or support our petition.

TNPRSI is currently working to modify and clarify the information displayed on our Change.org petition so that future supporters clearly understand the difference between making a payment through Change.org and making a financial contribution directly to our organization.
Our goal is to prevent anyone from mistakenly believing that a payment made through Change.org is a donation to TNPRSI.
While we work to make these changes on the petition, we are asking everyone who supports our work to PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION.
