Save Southside Speedway

Save Southside Speedway
The Issue
Sign this petition if you want Southside Speedway to continue for future generations.
This family fun facility has been around since 1959. Like many others who started racing, Southside was the first short track I started racing my INEX Legends car at in 2019.
Mind you, I’ve been traveling almost two hours for each one of those races along with many others. Why do we travel to this place? Because this track has been overall well maintained with a one of a kind true short track vibe.
The past has shown how profitable this business can be since it’s located directly off Genito Road in Midlothian, VA right outside of Richmond.
There are rumors it has been sold to become yet another strip mall in Virginia. Not something we need.
Only the families, friends, racers, we the people can make a difference. If this petition was to get enough attention it could make a difference, but it must be both signed and shared EVERYWHERE. I believe it can be since the post of the track closing has been shared over 2,000 times in less than 24 hours.
One of the hashtags I’ve stood by in life and especially in racing is #nevergiveup. Will you stand with me and others to continue one of the oldest traditions in Midlothian, VA?
Please sign this to make a difference.
Thank You
