Autistic Man Locked Up With Paedophiles and Murderers, Yet No Crime Has Been Committed.
The Issue
My name is Emma Dalmayne, I'm the CEO of an Autistic led organisation in SE London. Www.autisticinclusivemeets.org We are supporting Tracy in her desperate fight to get her Autistic, ADHD learning disabled son Kyle, age 37 home from Carstairs, the Scottish equivalent of Broadmoor.
Kyle has committed no crime and is not a danger to society, yet he's locked up in a room with no TV, no books or magazines, no stimulation or socialisation.
Kyle desperately wants to come home, what's had happened and is continuing to happen is horrific.
It has cost approximately six million pound to keep Kyle with all his years at the state hospital.

"My name is Tracey Gibbon, and I want to share my son Kyle Gibbon's horrific experience.
Kyle, who has ADHD and autism, has been detained in the High Secure state hospital at Carstairs for 15 years. He was initially sent there after an alleged assault and damage to furniture at Cornhill Hospital under a Community Treatment Order (CTO).
After seven years, the hospital brought charges against him, claiming that staff were injured during restraints.
Throughout his time there, Kyle has suffered numerous injuries, including a broken arm that required surgery and the insertion of two metal plates. Recent X-rays revealed fractures in his hand, and he has endured black eyes and cuts, which were attributed to hitting a skirting board.
Additionally, he has experienced severe friction burns that have resulted in the loss of skin on his face, back, and legs.
Most distressingly, Kyle has been placed in restraints for over a month, leading to significant humiliation and emotional distress.
Kyle is on medications that can cause aggression, and has many side effects including nausea. When he has told staff he feels unwell, he is told to drink water and given no help.
He does not need to be on these medications, he is not mentally ill.
Kyle needs to be allowed to come home and to love his live independently, he was in college and had just got his first flat, he was enjoying life and had a volunteer job when he was admitted.
We were told it was for 'support'. All these years later he is still there."
