I have updates as you can see here on this said petition

Ive updated the petition name & also i have added more information on why the HF label is outdated & how it stops many many of us getting help or accessing the community. 

Having this HF also stops the LA helping you & denying access to said community & the latter. Even though we have the autism act & the equality act. This outdated terms is very very harmful. And this label needs to change or be eradicated for good. There should be no high or low functioning to determine whether you are disabled or not 

Autism is a life long term condition & we all have different traits & our unique personality. Its not a one size fits all. And many many adults like myself are going without the right help & support due to this said label. 

Its like we are ostracised enough by society because we see & feel the world different. And than we are left to fend for ourselves with no added support. 

Navigating a NT world for an ND is very difficult & yes why most autistic adults can work & be independent most can't. Its extra stressful & anxiety is high. And the feeling of not belonging. Because we are not given or allowed this access by LA. Or we have to contribute towards care. Which many cannot afford, due to poverty or the current crisis of living & energy. 

Not everyone has family or friends either & with dwp reviews & form filling etc. Its very very hard & it takes its toll.
