We really need to get ALL Authorities to take River deaths more seriously and not dismiss them as suicidal. There are so many young and old people going missing and being found in our rivers. The easy option for the police is to dismiss as suicide and not full investigate into the real reasons behind them! In the last 9 years alone there has been minimum 28+ deaths in the same part of the River Thames that all have been UNEXPLAINED! There are cases which the police have had miss opportunities because they DONT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! We need More CCTV along the river THAT WORKS! (Work with the councils and TFL) More lighting, More patrols, more General knowledge about the river community. NO more Miss opportunities. The police need to act on all information and Taking what the families and friends say seriously because they actually know the person better then them! We are not going to stop until the police take this seriously and do there job properly and protect our community. They are failing us as a nation and it needs to be made aware of! Unfortunately we are a family of a Beautiful young man who lost his life to the river Thames in August 2021 and we know and believe it was through no fault of his own and the police failed him, Us, and the rest of the families that have lost there loved ones to the water!  They have lied and made excuses that are beyond forgiving! We don’t want people to go through this any more! We need to have faith in our authorities that there gonna do EVERYTHING they can instead of throbbing us off and not caring! Please share and support us! We need to help protect the families and prevent this from keep happening. We promised that after Paul that we would do everything possible to change the way the police and authorities deal with this situation!
