Morton Street & Gallivan Blvd BUS Shelter

Morton Street & Gallivan Blvd BUS Shelter
The Issue
We, the citizens of the town of Dorchester, Morton Street and Gallivan Blvd, petition the State and the City to install bus shed / shelter beside or across the Gallivan Fire Station on Gallivan Blvd. Additional shelters also need to be place on Morton street and Gullivan Blvd area. There is no bus shed / shelter to serve the amount of residents and kids who take the 21 or 26 buses to Ashmont MBTA station. There has been a major increase in the number of people taking these buses. Because of the lack of bus shed / shelter residents and their children has nowhere to cover during rain, snow and heat on a regular basis. This circumstance has inconvenienced the residents with delays in getting to work and school. We demand that the State of Massachusetts and the City of Boston fully fund the installment of Bus sheds / shelters in this area.
