The use of Neonicitinoid chemicals have been associated with Honey bee health in peer reviewed scientific research published internationally.

These chemicals are now banned in many parts of Europe.

In Australia, Woolworths Coles and Bunning have begun to withdraw products containing Neonictitnoids.

However the Australian Government regulatory board, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority, A.P.V.M.A., continue to approve new products containing neonicitinoids for use in Australian agriculture.

Honey bees are an essential pollinator and are therefore fundamental to our food security.

We, the undersigned, request the A.P.V.M.A. to implement a policy of phasing out neonicitiniod chemicals in Australian agriculture.
