It's very frustrating as a member of the public to see Prime Ministers routinely deposed. Politicians are paid a lot of money to represent the people and yet it seems to be all about them.

There are thousands of people working to support the elected government to enact their policy agenda but the trend over the past ten years has meant that Prime Ministers and politicians in general are focused on saving their necks rather than key policy issues.

We should legislate to prevent elected Prime Ministers from being ousted mid term. If we don't, millions of hours and public resources will continue to be wasted.

Australians deserve the right to expect the party they vote for will retain their elected leader until they have the chance to vote again.
