Australian Treasurer Scott Morrison says the age of entitlement with Age Pension is over (source: 9news), yet Australian politicians still enjoy an age of entitlement with tax-payer funded exorbitant pensions that dwarf even the best paid private sector jobs.

Bronwyn Bishop will retire on a tax-payer funded pension of $255,000 a year, plus free flights (source: Sydney Morning Herald).

A single aged pensioner in Australia will receive only $20,973.60 (source: Aust. Government: Department of Human Services) - just 8% of what Bronwyn Bishop will receive.

We believe politicians should be entitled to the SAME PENSION as ordinary Australians. After all, how can they understand the impact of their decisions on pensions when they are not affected by their own decisions?

This petitions will be presented to sitting members of the Federal Parliament to demand that Australian Politicians end the unfair age of political entitlement and end exorbitant tax-payer funded pensions for politicians.
