The Australian Government have a responsibility to defend their citizens from judicially corrupt processes which can occur in the United States. The Government failed to ensure fair justice for David Hicks, and we are concerned that it is currently heading to fail again with Julian Assange.

The Australian Government must act now to seek public assurance from Sweden and the US for the following: that Julian Assange will not be extradited to America to face any charges for publishing data which was in fact leaked by another person.
